Unified Identity

Supports Single-Sign-On (SSO) using
OpenID Connect protocols. Directly
tested with AF Portal CAC authentication
and Azure active Directory.

100% GOTS

With unlimited Government
rights, the DevSecOps is built free
of proprietary implementations.

Flexible

Each program chooses their licensing
levels, applications and capabilities
that suit their mission. We have
many popular apps ready to deploy.

MBSE Ready

We have Cameo and TeamWorkCloud
ready to go to provide your program
with a full MBSE capability.

ScalabIe

Virtual Machines scale up as needed
and Keep costs in check by utilizing
capabilities that turn off unused
resources during non-peak hour.

Cloud Service Types and Tiers

IaaS

Infrastructure as a Service

PaaS

Platform as a Service

SaaS

Software as a Service

Infrastructure as a service (IaaS) is a type of cloud computing service that offers essential compute, storage, and networking resources

A complete environment in the cloud, with resources that enable you to deliver everything up to enterprise applications

Cloud-based software delivery model in which the provider develops and maintains cloud application software

Serverless and VM Software are other categories of note that ARS  has significant experience in.

  • IaaS forms the basis of most of our architectures.

  • We use Terraform as our IAC (Infrastructure as Code) language

  • We orchestrate 100’s of VMs with Terraform and our own Golang based orchestration tool (for end users) with intelligent size selection based on quotas

  • We utilize the “Well Known Architecture” approaches for AWS and Azure

  • Multiple environments, Azure, AWS with edge devices

  • We believe in the AWS LZA and MS MLZ offerings to provide a core / foundational level of security and utilize CSP specific cyber security controls for environments

  • PaaS offerings today are mostly Kubernetes powered. ARS has experience with Azure Kubernetes Service and the AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service

  • Everything from automated deployments with ArgoCD, Ingress and Ingress Controllers, Secret management, and the new CSIs

  • We typically prefer Kubernetes deployments over all others and use Helm and Kustomize as necessary

  • We deploy our APIs, and UIs in Kubernetes as well as several COTS (GitLab, Artifactory, Jira, Confluence, etc)

  • We integrate CSP specific ingress options (like Azure App Gateway)

  • SaaS is a huge category of offerings. ARS utilizes and makes available CSP provided SaaS. Like S3, RDS, etc.

  • SaaS is based on the eye of the consumer and ARS provides third party COTS offerings to our tenants as SaaS

  • We have extensive experience securing SaaS behind single sign on

AWS Net-Zero “Green” Data Centers Initiatives

“AWS is focused on efficiency and continuous innovation across our global infrastructure, as we continue our path to powering our operations with 100% renewable energy by 2025. AWS is committed to achieving Amazon's goal of net-zero carbon by 2040. – AWS”

Moving to AWS Can Help
Significantly Lower Carbon

Studies by 451 Research have shown that AWS’ infrastructure is 3.6 times more energy efficient than the median of U.S. enterprise data centers surveyed and up to five times more energy efficient than the average in Europe. 451 Research also found that AWS can lower customers’ workload carbon footprints by nearly 80% compared to surveyed enterprise data centers, and up to 96% once AWS is powered with 100% renewable energy—a target we’re on path to meet by 2025.

The following AWS Regions
were powered by over 95% renewable energy:

North America

US East (Northern Virginia), GovCloud (US-East), US East (Ohio), US West (Oregon), GovCloud (US-West), US West (Northern California), Canada (Central)

Europe

Europe (Ireland), Europe (Frankfurt), Europe (London), Europe (Milan), Europe (Paris), Europe (Stockholm)

Azure Net-Zero “Green” Data Centers Initiatives

Azure, as a part of Microsoft, has been 100 percent carbon neutral since 2012. This means we are removing as much carbon each year as we emit, either by carbon removal (carbon offsetting) or reducing carbon emissions.

Evolving beyond an operational approach Sustainability is often viewed from an operational point of view, with the environmental mission treated as a cost center in the business, as a risk or compliance to be managed. But for Azure, datacenters and sustainable cloud infrastructure are more than just business—they provide an incredible opportunity to give back to the communities where we operate.
Azure has committed to focus on four key areas of environmental impact to local communities—carbon, water, waste, end ecosystems.
